DELINEATOR is an award-winning Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Firm with locations in Dallas, TX and Charlottesville, VA. The work ranges in scale across a variety of project types including urban design, public space, parks, commercial development, ecological restoration, campus, and institutional.  The firm has been recognized for its thoughtful approach by awards for domestic and large-scale international work. DELINEATOR seeks to provide excellence in design and communication throughout the process, from concept to construction. The firm has remained intentionally small as we collaborate with experts in their fields to provide the best team for each project, providing expertise and value for our clients. DELINEATOR leads projects for developers and clients directly, but also as consultants and collaborators for architects, developers, municipalities, and more. DELINEATOR is certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). 

We are landscape architects, planners, and urban designers. We provide design solutions that are deeply researched, contextually appropriate, and environmentally sustainable for our clients from concept to execution. We communicate design problems and solutions to any audience and pride ourselves on engagement with the communities we work within. We work for all who have a stake in a changing and dynamic landscape wherever there is a need for design excellence.
 
Our Approach:

Enduring and valued spaces are made up of two parts – a thoughtful and contextually appropriate design and a well-constructed project.

A thoughtful site design should address all the current needs of the owner, client, and end user but also provide a framework for unanticipated future uses. We develop all-inclusive solutions by using research and analysis to frame a broad, comprehensive design problem for the site that includes social, cultural, environmental, infrastructural, and economic characteristics specific to a site and its context.
