The former Office of Information Technology within the Department of Budget and Management joined the Major Information Technology Development Fund to form State agency F50 as a principal unit of the Executive Branch effective July 1, 2008.  Secretary Elliot Schlanger oversees a Cabinet-level department committed to the following principles:
