DPE's mission is to provide professional engineering and land surveying services to the public and private sectors using sound principles with the understanding of economics and schedule and to maintain accessibility to our clients at all times. In January of 1999, Development Planning & Engineering, Inc. (DPE) was founded by two Professional Engineers, Kyle W. Bowen and James C. (Jimmy) Garrison, III. This duo combined their 25 years of civil engineering and land planning experience to develop and grow a firm that provides quality, professional, and timely service. In addition to their experience in engineering, both founding partners grew up in metro Atlanta families that are heavily involved in the development/construction industries providing them a solid background in construction. This “lifetime” of experience establishes DPE's broad understanding of all project aspects and how to best serve their clients. Jon adds 32 years of experience which ensures DPE's surveying department will deliver quality surveys to meet each client’s need. Now in our 16th year, DPE has become a very respected civil engineering and land surveying firm with the reputation for meeting deadlines and providing quality design services to the public and private sectors.
