Dickerson Insurance Services was founded more than a half century ago by Carl Dickerson. The company began with Dickerson working the multi-cultural neighborhoods of Los Angeles, California. From this one-man-operation, selling insurance door-to-door, the company has grown to include employee benefits, property and casualty and consulting services among its insurance offerings. 

In May 2018, Dickerson Insurance Services became an Alera Group Company. The company is proud to bring customers a larger, national scope that is paired with its continued focus on local sales and service. Its headquarters remain on a spacious campus near historic Dodger Stadium.
 
Today, the leadership of the company is shared by managing partners Michael Wolff and Tony Lee, Dickerson's sons-in-law. As a result of our senior leaders’ involvement in both political and civic organizations, Dickerson Insurance Services continues to have deep roots in the minority and culturally diverse communities of California. 

In addition to partnering with major insurance companies to market group insurance and related products, Dickerson goes beyond the traditional in its service offerings to clients.
