Dowd and Company PLLC is a full service Certified Public Accounting firm located in Texarkana, Arkansas, however, our client base reaches far beyond the four states area.  It takes the Dowd and Company team to deliver the best service; each member completes specific tasks to help us serve you better. Together our staff has over 60 years in public accounting, over 32 years in private bookkeeping, 5 years in private controlling, and 5 years of service with the Internal Revenue Service. We also have a QuickBooks pro advisor on staff to handle all your QuickBooks needs.

Our partners and staff members attend continuing education courses to stay current with changes in tax legislation, financial reporting standards and to meet requirements implemented by the AICPA. Most of our team has earned accounting degrees or are currently working to obtain them. We feel that continuing our education and meeting requirements set by the AICPA is crucial to providing you with the best service. 

Each member of the Dowd and Company team has two things in common, we love our community and we love serving our community. Most of our staff has called the Texarkana and surrounding area home for at least ten years. Many of our partners serve on the board of directors for community business and serve as members of various charitable organizations.
