East Side House Settlement is one of New York City's oldest nonprofit social service organizations, established in 1891. It began on the Upper East Side and relocated to the Mott Haven neighborhood of the South Bronx in 1962–63, where it remains based today and serves communities in the Bronx and Northern Manhattan from 29 program locations, supporting about 14,000 individuals annually.

The organization employs a sizable workforce of professionals, including teachers and social workers, across its programs. Its activities operate with a budget exceeding $30 million, with private philanthropy contributing a substantial portion. In 2023, East Side House partnered with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
