Citymeals on Wheels provides a lifeline of meals and connection to 22,000 older New Yorkers. We have delivered over 72 million meals since our founding in 1981.

Last year, Citymeals delivered 2.2 million meals — that's 10% more meals than the previous fiscal year, in part due to new programs, like our Breakfast Box and Mobile Grocery. We also delivered over 255,000 pounds of fresh produce. Almost 17,000 volunteers gave 30,000 hours of service to our mission.

Citymeals has set an ambitious goal to end elder hunger in New York City by 2040.

100% of all public donations will be used entirely for the preparation and delivery of meals, thanks to the generosity of our Board of Directors, the City of New York, sponsors and other designated gifts.
