Elk Components was founded in October of 2003. Our unique resources and exceptional product knowledge combines with an uncommon commitment to delight our customers and vendors with unparalleled service. Our market focus is providing imported and domestic hardwood and softwood products into the cabinet and furniture industry. We service a territory that radiates approximately 100 miles from our headquarters located in Elkhart, Indiana. Our resources are global. Elk Components also provides custom warehousing and logistic services to a wide variety of industries that take advantage of our unique ability to either transload from our rail spur or unload from our hydraulically operated truck docks located in a clean, well lit, secure environment. Our core competencies include devanning import containers, indoor flatbed loading and unloading areas and box and flat car capabilities. We are particularly well versed in lumber and plywood industry terminology with several employees having over 15 years of experience working for some of the industry giants.
