Elliott Lawson & Minor P.C. (ELM) is composed of attorneys practicing in the Tri-Cities region of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia (Bristol, Tennessee-Virginia; Johnson City and Kingsport, Tennessee; Abingdon, Virginia) from its base in Bristol, a single community forming two cities in two different states.

Most of the firm's clients are businesses with headquarters in the region, government organizations in Tennessee and Virginia, and national and international firms with regional interests. All of the firm's lawyers are admitted to practice in both Tennessee and Virginia state courts. The firm handles cases in Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and West Virginia in both state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.
