The Employees Club of California is a nonprofit organization in the civic and social sector, based in Los Angeles. It was established in 2001 by the Los Angeles City Employees Association, a large nonprofit organization that has managed employee benefit programs since 1928. The club serves California government workers by building a community-oriented network that provides access to insurance options and discounted benefits and services for state, city, and county employees. Its mission is to celebrate the work and lives of municipal employees and to support the welfare of employees, retirees, and their families. In early 2024, Robert Larios was named President and CEO, effective January 1. The club operates as part of LACEA, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations focused on providing employee benefits to public-sector workers.
