Entegra Power is an Independent Power Company that is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Entegra was formed in 2005 to own, operate and manage a portfolio of eight, natural gas fired, power generation facilities having the capability to produce in excess of 4,000 MW of electric power. These facilities included the Union Power Station in Arkansas and the Gila Power Station in Arizona. Entegra also owned and operated the Trans-Union Pipeline, which is a 42 mile interstate pipeline located in Arkansas and Louisiana. Since 2005, Entegra Power has focused on maximizing value for its investors through a combination of optimizing day to day operations and energy sales, securing long term power sales agreements, structuring attractive financings and harvesting value through asset sales. Entegra presently owns and operates one of the gas fired, combined cycle facilities located at the Gila Power Station. The output from this combined cycle facility is currently being sold under a power sales agreement to Arizona Public Service Company.
