Small yet specialized ERA is a small environmental services firm with 2-10 employees but a broad engineering and scientific expertise base, suggesting a niche, high-touch service model that could be scaled through targeted partnerships and subcontracting for larger projects.

New England focus The firm has deep local experience in New England spanning air permitting, emissions reporting, wastewater, and remedial services, presenting a clear opportunity to target regional manufacturers and facilities with regulatory and environmental needs.

Regulatory service depth Core offerings include air pollution control, air source registration, emissions reporting, and wastewater treatment, indicating potential upsell to clients needing integrated compliance programs and multi-discipline environmental management.

Technology readiness Active use of analytics and digital tools (Fullstory, Snowplow, Google Tag Manager, The Trade Desk) alongside standard engineering services suggests openness to digital-enabled monitoring, data reporting, and client portal improvements for transparency.

Growth opportunities With verified revenue between one and ten million and a strong referral network implied by longstanding regional presence, there is potential to pursue strategic alliances, subcontracting arrangements, and expanded service lines to scale without dramatically increasing headcount.
