Faema has been producing espresso equipment since 1945.  In 1961 they released the E61 which has since become one of the most successful espresso machines ever produced.  Two things set the machine apart.  First it was the first machine to use a pump to provide a consistent 9 bars of pressure.  This allowed the barista to make a consistent shot of espresso.  It was also the first espresso machine to use the thermosyphonic system.  This revolutionary brew group provides the user with a stable group temperature and gives the barista control over the group head temperature.
