Additional slate is purchased from independent operators in Vermont's slate valley, with much of this on an exclusive basis. Evergreen also imports S1-tested slate from select and long standing high quality foreign sources in Canada and the UK. Floor tile, structural slate, and slate accessories are also part of our line. Founded in 1916, the company has a strong traditon of meeting the slate roofing needs of architects, general contractors, roofing specialists, institutions and homeowener for almost 100 years.
