Evolution Technologies was founded with a simple idea, to build business workflows that allow people to be free of the monotony  and errors of data entry.  I found that a common approach to running a business involved a half dozen separate applications, hundreds of files and among larger companies a fractured workflow that was inconsistent, time-consuming and confusing.

I found that building a central application to manage crucial business practices is key.  For companies with 5-100 employees or for workgroups of this size within larger companies, FileMaker Pro is a no-brainer.  It allows for rapid development and integration with other applications such as QuickBooks and Outlook/Exchange.  It is cross platform, allowing Mac and PC users can live in harmony on the same network.  Macs can also be fully integrated with virtually any application using Applescript.  FileMaker Go is available for the iPad and iPhone and allows the same rapid development and business workflow for mobile devices.  FileMaker also allows the ability to display data on the web, talk to other databases, and the list goes on and on.
