Exit 9 Wine & Liquor Warehouse was founded November 1, 2001 by Mark and Sharon O’Callaghan. After working 12 years in the Alcohol industry at the wholesale and supplier levels, Mark decided to explore the retail end of the business. With a solid business plan and bank financing, they were ready to go. The Clifton Park area of Saratoga County, NY was chosen for its large bedroom community to Albany and proximity to Saratoga Springs and Lake George. In 2010, an opportunity presented itself that was too good to pass. We moved across the street to Halfmoon, NY to a stand alone 37,500 square foot building. A complete renovation with brand new fixtures; we created our dream store, complete with a temperature controlled 4000 bottle wine room and a walk-in cooler for chilled wines. Exit 9 Wine & Liquor Warehouse is now one of the biggest and unique wine and liquor stores in New York State! Despite our size, we continue to be a true family business. Working with the O’Callaghans are many family members and non-relatives who are like family. We look forward to the future serving our customers with excellent customer service and a wide choice of wines and spirits at great prices. Our customers and community are why we are here and have made us what we are today. We continue to commit to giving back by donating wine, money and time to hundreds of charities and community events each year. It is a pure pleasure serving our customers and we hope to do so for many years to come.
