Extremis is a Belgian manufacturer that specializes in outdoor furniture and related pieces, emphasizing products that are both practical and visually refined. Its philosophy treats furniture as tools designed to enhance daily life and social interaction, combining longevity with timeless design. The company is based in Poperinge, in the Flanders region of Belgium, and operates within the broader furniture and home furnishings manufacturing industry.

Extremis positions its offerings as durable solutions for social spaces rather than mere decor, aiming to support communal use with a focus on functionality and restraint in design. Its collaborations, including a partnership with Steelcase that linked Extremis pieces with the West Elm Work Collection, indicate activity in contract and design-forward markets. In 2021, the company expanded its presence by opening a showroom at Mart, signaling ongoing growth and visibility.
