Families and Work Institute (FWI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing research for living in today’s changing workplace, changing family, and changing community. Founded in 1989, the Families and Work Institute practices civic science in addressing the most pressing problems in work life, family life, and children’s/adolescents’ development. Mind in the Making, a program of FWI, MITM combines deep research focused on executive function skills, with signature science-fueled training and resources, for professionals across sectors who work with children and families.
