Styles have come and gone since Family Britches opened its doors, but the business philosophy has remained constant: co-owners Rick Buggee and Barry Mishkin combine the finest names in clothing with a level of personal service that's second-to-none. 

Over forty years ago, two young men dreamed of a store where customers would become members of an extended family. Shopping could be exciting and convenient.
 
Our budget allowed us to open in a barn building in Chappaqua, carrying jeans and tops. Before long, we moved downtown, expanded our selections and opened in New Canaan in 1977.
 
Customers responded to the friendly, personal service and the merchandise mix. Our stores have grown with the needs of our communities while continuing the commitment to quality and service.
