Family Promise of Santa Clarita Valley (SCV) is a chapter of a national organization, with a 25 plus year history committed to helping low-income homeless children and their families achieve lasting independence. Through our local network of diverse congregations and volunteers, Family Promise of SCV helps homeless families by meeting their immediate needs for shelter and meals, while providing 	comprehensive support and case management services to address underlying causes of homelessness and get them back on their feet and into transitional or permanent housing within 90 days. 

During a family's stay with the program, Family Promise transports guests between its host congregations (where the families receive meals and overnight shelter and sleep on air mattresses) and the day center, where all supportive services needs are met. In addition, Family Promise also provides school drop off services for school aged children. 

Our program operates 365 days per year and offers assistance to 3-4 families and/or up to 14 individuals at one given time.

Our mission is: Through mobilizing community faith groups, Family Promise of Santa Clarita Valley works to assist homeless families to achieve sustainable independence, while offering hope and compassion, and preserving individual dignity.
