The Fédération bancaire française (FBF) is a professional association representing all banks operating in France. It groups 320 member banking entities, including 115 foreign banks. The FBF acts as the voice of the profession on major issues, notably regulatory matters, and aims to promote banking and financial activity in France, Europe, and internationally, while defining the profession's positions for public authorities and authorities in the economic and financial domain. It represents the banking profession to media, political and institutional circles, consumers, professional associations, educators, and think tanks.
