Fedasil is the Federal Agency for the reception of asylum seekers, a public-interest organization based in Brussels in the Brussels-Capital Region, operating since May 2002. It coordinates the reception of asylum seekers and other groups entitled to reception, ensuring high-quality services across its structures and overseeing voluntary return programmes. In August 2025, Fedasil announced a partnership with the International Organization for Migration to pilot housing for recognised refugees in Belgium.
