The Federal Farm Credit Banks Funding Corporation is a midsize financial services organization based in Jersey City, New Jersey. It operates as a core component of the Farm Credit System, a government-sponsored enterprise created by Congress in 1916 to provide stable financing to rural communities and U.S. agriculture, and the System funds a substantial share of farm business debt in the United States. The Funding Corporation delivers consulting, accounting, and financial reporting services to the System, including oversight of the Data Warehouse and the preparation of the System’s annual and quarterly financial statements. It also manages the System’s investor relations program and coordinates interactions with rating agencies.

In October 2020, the Funding Corporation announced the formation of the LEAD Dealer Group to provide access to Farm Credit debt securities for minority, women, veteran, disabled veteran, and American Indian Tribally owned dealers.
