First Coast Test and Balance, Inc. is an independent test and balance agency certified by the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB). Founded in 1984, we have performed work for owners, general contractors, mechanical contractors, engineers, controls contractors and equipment suppliers on a variety of projects ranging from simple systems to complex chilled and hot water, multi-building systems. Our firm has successfully completed work in all areas of the Southeast, up to Ohio, and in the Bahamas and Aruba. There is no geographical limit for our work. 

All work is performed under the strict standards of NEBB. Our supervisors & technicians remain updated on the ever changing HVAC and controls systems.

What it means to be NEBB Certified ~
In order to be a NEBB (National Environmental Balancing Bureau) technician one must pass a very rigorous written and practical examination as well as have previously completed 1,000 hours of fieldwork, prior to the exam. All technicians must demonstrate competency, reliability, cooperativeness, sound judgment, high ethical standards, and the ability to work independently in a safe, professional manner
