Florida Farm Bureau Federation is a mid-sized, non-profit organization based in Gainesville, Florida, and it operates as the state’s largest general agricultural association. It represents more than 132,000 member-families and works to sustain farm enterprises while strengthening rural communities. As a member-driven organization in the non-profit sector, it provides guidance and support across agricultural interests and rural development.

In 2025, the federation partnered with the University of Florida and the Mind Your Melon Foundation to publish its first statewide mental health report, a collaboration that expands its programmatic focus beyond policy and advocacy to well-being and data-informed insights for farming communities. This development reflects active engagement with academic and nonprofit partners to address issues affecting farmers and rural residents while reinforcing its role in statewide outreach and education.
