humanID, a product of the Foundation for a Human Internet, a New York based 501(c)3 charity, is an open source nonprofit that offers an entirely private and secure Sign In solution for apps and websites across iOS, Android and the web. 
A trusted alternative to Social Media SSOs such as Facebook Login, neither humanID nor our clients store any user data - providing 100% privacy and anonymity to users.
By identifying real people via a random identifier generated by hashing their phone numbers, humanID blocks bots and spam, and thereby enables platforms to enforce community policies and paywalls, effectively penalize users, and create civil communities of real humans!

humanID was established in 2019 by a group of experienced entrepreneurs passionate to fight the lack of credibility and accountability online - in particular the spread of fake news. 

humanID launched in early 2020, and is currently looking for platforms that fight with spam, trolls and bots, as well as entrepreneurs who are interested in building new & innovative products in spaces such as social media, online media, online communication, online polling & surveys and more.
