Friends of Givat Haviva (FOGH) is the NYC-based nonprofit that supports and empowers Givat Haviva in Israel, an NGO established in 1949, whose mission is to bridge the gap between Israel's Jewish and Arab citizens, and to put forth the building blocks of an Israel shared equally by all of its citizens.

A leader in its field, Givat Haviva has been internationally recognized for its achievements and is known as the preeminent organization in Israel working to strengthen relations between the country’s Jewish and Arab citizens. Over the years, Givat Haviva was awarded the Friedrich-Ebert Stiftung Human Rights Award, the Austrian Government’s Intercultural Achievement Award, the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education for its longstanding work promoting Jewish-Arab dialogue, and in 2018, we were granted Special Consultative Status to the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
