Ofanim converts buses into mobile classrooms and introduces at-risk youth to the highest quality instructors and after-school enrichment programs in computers, science, math, English, and two new robotics programs co-sponsored by the Technion (Israel’s MIT) in the North and Ben Gurion University in the South. Founded by Israeli social and business entrepreneur, Haim Dahan, Ofanim’s inspiring vision is to empower the next generation of Israeli leaders, scientists and entrepreneurs. Together, we’re driving real change in Israel’s forgotten periphery. In 2022, Friends of Ofanim is proud to launch an exclusive network of startup and high-tech companies that support Ofanim as we increase our STEM education and SEL activities from third grade through ninth grade – extending the pipeline to employment in STEM fields in the years to come. Through our network, startup and high-tech companies can leverage their impact to shape and create the next generation of employees in their sector and drastically alter the prospects of the disadvantaged youth we work with.
