The resources in Canada and the USA are readily accessible to oil companies, and the political and economic environments are stable. The heavy oil resources in North America only provide a small percentage of current oil production (approximately 2%). eSteam's downhole steam technologies will allow for significantly increased heavy oil and oil sands production. Heavy oil can be profitably produced with today's higher market price.
