Garden First is a 100% owner-operated recreational cannabis producer founded in Tangent, Oregon in 2017.

Our vision is create and scale our cultivation and business model in a way that benefits our employees, our community, and our industry. We do this by putting our focus on the foundation, always putting our "Garden First"

Initially, this mantra was intended to inform our decisions regarding equipment, growth style, and ingredient usage in order to produce quality product in the most consistent and efficient manner we could. However, in the process of building our team we put a lot of emphasis on creating a work environment that rewards and appreciates people for their work- and we came to realize that the "Garden" goes well beyond the environmental conditions in a grow room. Our garden consists of 20+ individuals who give their all every day. Our love and appreciation for the people that help us achieve our dreams has given the mantra a whole new meaning for us.

Garden First really means focusing on your foundation to achieve success. This realization led to a creation of a deeper philosophy around Garden First and the creation of a document to put our thoughts on paper and hold ourselves accountable. This informs the culture we've built within our company, and we hope for it to inform the lives of those who support. Focusing on your foundation. Taking life one leaf at a time.
