Global Design Solutions, based in Torrance, California, operates as a small engineering services firm focused on turning field conditions into execution-ready digital data. The company supports modernization of asset-intensive operations across energy, chemicals, manufacturing, robotics, and related sectors by producing reliable digital representations when drawings are missing or outdated. Its work encompasses capturing real-world conditions, producing CAD- and BIM-ready models, reconstructing legacy equipment, and creating digital twins to support simulation and virtual training, along with custom data workflows as needed.

GDS serves owners, operators, EPCs, and government entities, helping them reduce risk and enable informed decisions through trusted digital data. Typical challenges include missing or outdated drawings, lack of CAD documentation for legacy assets, and the need for precise as-built data to support upgrades, retrofits, or expansions across locations. Deliverables support as-built documentation, equipment upgrades, fabrication, and downstream engineering workflows, enabling teams in engineering, operations, and training to rely on consistent representations of real conditions.
