GFA World brings the love of Christ to those who have yet to hear as we partner with local churches in over 20 countries across Africa and Asia to support national missionaries, help children, provide compassionate care and bring disaster relief—all culminating in life-change at a community level. Through local churches, GFA World helps enable thousands of active national missionaries to care for physical needs such as helping to alleviate poverty while also bringing the message of hope through Christ's death, burial and resurrection. The people in these communities experience Christ's love through practical help and through understanding that Christ died for them. It is by both hearing and seeing Christ's love that communities transform to be life-giving for themselves, for future generations and for the world around them. More than 142,000 children have found brighter futures through GFA World's Child Sponsorship Program. Provided with education and basic care, these children have an opportunity to free their families from the cycle of poverty. GFA World works to provide communities with clean water, income-producing farm animals, sewing machines and other simple gifts, all of which touch hearts and increase the health and livelihood of communities. We typically help around 150,000 families break the cycle of poverty each year. And through GFA Compassion ministries, leprosy patients, widows and natural disaster victims find hope and help in their distress. We live with the goal and challenge to live in the light of eternity and help reach the billions of people in the world who still have not experienced the love of Christ.
