Golden Digital Network is The Ultimate 24/7 Entertainment Experience for Seniors. The inspiration for Golden Digital Network came about one Saturday afternoon while its founders Harry James, Jr., Louise Tobin and Michael Kubiak were listening to the Big Band sounds of yesteryear. Louise took a phone call from a long-time friend and fan, and when she returned she commented that she keeps hearing the same refrain of “we just can’t get the music we love and grew up with anymore.”

Those words motivated us, and we began to focus on how we could deliver an entertainment experience for seniors that rivaled no other. We already had an extensive library of more than 77,000 individual MP3 formatted music pieces and original radio shows from the 1900s through the middle 2000s. If we combined our unique library with other historic collections, we could find a way to be a one-stop resource for access to the original Top 40 hits by the original artists and other memorable audio and video segments to span eight decades.

Our research showed that while the digital revolution of music and video delivery through the Internet has spawned an enormous range of choices, there are so many it is often confusing to find what you want. What little Internet or broadcast media service there is for the senior market has very short airtime, usually only once a week for a few hours, or is totally unorganized for the older audience. The senior market is virtually un-served, not under-served.
