Gootee Construction, founded in 1991, is qualified by the State of Louisiana Licensing Board for Contractors, in the following areas:  building construction; highway, street and bridge construction; heavy construction; municipal and public works construction; electrical work and mechanical work.  We are also licensed by the State Plumbing Board of Louisiana and the Mechanical Boards in the Greater New Orleans area.  Ben Gootee is the sole owner of Gootee Construction, Inc.   Our staff members are professionals who are actively involved in many of the construction industry’s associations and boards.  Gootee employees serve as officers, advisers and teachers to many of these associations.  Our management expertise is supported by state-of-the-art information systems that interface to provide accurate estimating, efficient project management and effective cost-control.  We are well-known for our proactive and innovative approaches to the challenges that inevitably arise during major construction projects.  We have substantial experience bringing difficult and sensitive projects to successful completion.
