Over the past 25 years, Gordon Dixon Construction has built more than 50 homes for families of all sizes and preferences. We offer a range of construction services. If you are interested in designing and building a new home, building from your own plans, renovating, or adding on to an old home, we can provide you with the expertise you need throughout the process. We handle all aspects of management from site preparation and permitting to framing, finish work and landscaping. We can implement your vision for your dream home from plans provided by you or your architect. We can also recommend architects in the area that we enjoy working with. Though our roots are in the Vermont vernacular style, our projects have evolved to include a variety of styles, ranging from classic Vermont farmhouses to large contemporary timber-framed homes. We also have completed a number of commercial projects, including several offices, a state-of-the-art medical building, and a restaurant/lodge. Our commercial projects have received awards for leadership in Green Building. Our lead carpenters bring over 20 years of experience in building high quality homes. Several are native Vermonters who bring an appreciation for traditional Vermont architecture. They are committed to high quality craftsmanship and building the home that your family will enjoy for generations.
