Grupo CAOA, founded in 1979 in Brazil, operates as a major motor vehicle manufacturing and distribution group. It positions itself as the largest automotive conglomerate in Latin America for both distribution and manufacturing, representing Hyundai, Subaru and Ford, and overseeing CAOA Chery. The company is known for stable operations and a highly trained workforce delivering high-quality customer service, and it has earned JD Power awards for Sales Satisfaction Index and Customer Service Index. Its manufacturing arm, CAOA Montadora, runs a modern plant in Anápolis, Goiás, built with entirely CAOA-owned capital on a site of about 1.5 million square meters, and it houses the Center for Research and Energy Efficiency, described as the most complete energy-efficiency laboratory in Latin America. The group emphasizes sustainable development in the local community and employs thousands of residents of Anápolis.

Across Brazil, CAOA operates a nationwide dealer network with more than 240 dealerships and a staff of about 1,200 sales consultants, supported by service workshops with around 2,400 professionals for after-sales. In late 2017, it launched CAOA Chery, a strategic brand that combines advanced Chinese automotive technology with CAOA's engineering expertise to expand growth and global competitiveness.
