Strategic partnerships The college actively pursues collaborations with other institutions and industries, evidenced by partnerships with Drake State, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ford, and Wine Growers Canada. This presents opportunities to position facilities services enhancements, workforce training facilities, and on-site operations support to support joint programs and expanded campus operations.

Growing program portfolio Recent expansions include automotive technician programs and a customer service training initiative, signaling a broader demand for skill-building infrastructure and campus resources. This creates a sales opening for facilities services, classroom/ lab modernization, and training center development or maintenance.

Federal and industry funding NSF-funded collaboration involving Trenholm State indicates a readiness to engage in grant-aligned STEM infrastructure and equipment needs. Market entry could focus on scalable lab upgrades, energy-efficient facilities, and IT/tech stack enhancements aligned with grant objectives.

Public-sector scale Operating with 51-200 employees and revenue in the hundreds of millions places Trenholm State among mid-size public institutions with substantial facilities needs. Target opportunities include campus facilities management, security, maintenance contracts, and technology-enabled operations integration.

Technology stack alignment Adoption of common web technologies and cloud DNS services suggests a modernization trajectory. Sales targets could include infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity hardening, cloud-hosted services, and digital delivery tools to support administrative and instructional functions.
