Hecht Team Real Estate - I started my Lake Norman area real estate career, newly licensed on May 20, 1971. Since that point, I have watched the lake area and surrounding towns "grow up" and move from a second home area to where the large percentage of residents are permanent and commute to work. Prices have jumped and those early lot sales less than $10,000 for waterfront have increased to several hundred thousand for some unique properties. My first house sale was a waterfront ranch with basement for $25,000. My real estate experience includes working as an agent, then starting a real estate company with my Dad (December 1971). I owned the Century 21 Hecht Realty offices around the lake until March 2009 when I sold to Coldwell Banker United, Realtors and that gave me the opportunity to become an agent again, as my passion is working with sellers and buyers.
