Helmet HALO Technologies, is a leading football educational group based in Norwalk, Connecticut. Their new HITRight sensor technology, is an on-field, in-helmet training aid that will provide a player with a audible alert when the athlete lowers their head into an unsafe downward position. While coaches constantly instruct players to keep their ‘Heads Up’ it is not practical to believe that a coach can see each unsafe head down instance occurring on the field but the 'HITRight' technology can be that personal on field coach for each player. Whether if it's running drills, playing a scrimmage or a game, the 'HITRight' alert system will provide young athletes with an audible reminder that they are not in proper ‘Heads Up’ form and they should raise their head to execute their tackle or block safely. The 'HITRight' sensor is the first and only technology that touches the athlete directly, everything before it has been about measurement of impact and diagnosis, providing post impact data for parents, coaches, medical staff and researchers. The 'HITRight sensor interacts directly with the ball player providing actionable feedback via the audible alert.
