HF Holidays operates as a cooperative in the travel arrangements sector, specializing in walking and outdoor holidays. It is the UK's largest walking and outdoor travel operator and the only co-operative walking holiday tour operator in the country to be B Corporation Certified; it is based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, England, and traces its origins to 1913 when Thomas Arthur Leonard introduced walking holidays as an alternative to the seaside holiday trend. 

The organization serves a broad community of travelers and counts a substantial membership alongside a sizeable staff to support its programs. In 2026 it expanded its asset base with the acquisition of the Best Western Lee Wood Hotel in Buxton, strengthening its presence in the Peak District.
