Hills Learning is a language school with its head branch in New York City and specializes in instruction in the Asian languages and Arabic. The school offers both private and group classes in NYC and online. The main languages taught are Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Korean, Thai, Arabic and Vietnamese.

The school has a unique approach to language instruction following its own SWIRL method, and has developed indepth curriculum that matches native country standards for instructing the languages. The Mandarin curriculum follows the HSK, Japanese the JLPT, and Korean the TOPIK testing standards. All levels and all ages are offered for their languages. 

Hills Learning focuses most on developing relationships between its student body, teachers, and the school administrators. Communication is key both inside and outside the classroom. They offer free resources to existing students, such as a free study circle in their target language, student library for checking out real world resources, and audio track recordings that come with every group class and are downloadable from their website. 

Hills Learning also recognizes the need for better resources on the internet for learning languages and they have developed flashcards, language learning articles, and other informative resources through their blog, resources pages and word of the day on Twitter.
