Honeymoon Brewery is a Southwest-born, science-backed hard kombucha company, and the first of its kind to develop a fermentation method with technical assistance with a top U.S. research lab, Los Alamos National Laboratories. We built a best-selling kombucha beer from the ground up. Then we did what most startups don’t: we earned a U.S. patent for our proprietary brewing system (Patent # issued 7.15.25) and won Miller Lite’s national “Tap the Future” competition, judged by Daymond John of Shark Tank. Our award-winning product line (Silver Medal, 2023 World Kombucha Awards – Barcelona) blends gut-friendly functionality with bold craft flavors. But Honeymoon isn’t just a beverage brand, it’s a platform for innovation. Now, under our umbrella brand Honeymoon Beverage Co., we’re licensing our patent-pending fermentation system and partnering with breweries, wellness brands, and hospitality groups ready to break into the functional beverage space. We're also expanding into the non-alcoholic category with Honeymoon Acequias—a gut-healthy fermented sparkling drink line inspired by ancient water systems, New Mexico terroir, and botanical wellness.
