Housemarque is a Finnish computer games developer based in Helsinki, in the Southwest Finland region. Founded in 1995, it is the country's longest-standing game studio and has a track record of tight gameplay, high-quality audiovisual execution, and technical excellence. It operates as part of PlayStation Studios and has released titles for the PlayStation ecosystem, including Returnal, a PlayStation 5 exclusive released in 2021.

In 2026, the studio expanded its technology with the launch of the Graphite VFX engine and the worldwide release of Saros for PS5 in April 2026, accompanied by ongoing patches. A Photo Mode feature was added to Saros in June 2026, reflecting continued development by the Helsinki-based, mid-sized team within Finland's game development scene.
