Hoy Health, a veteran- and minority-owned business, is a HIPAA-compliant, practical innovation company that has developed bilingual platforms designed to increase access to healthcare in traditionally underserved communities. These communities are affected by a number of Social Determinants of Health, including: Cultural and language barriers Income and wealth disparity Poor diet Predisposition to certain chronic conditions (diabetes and hypertension, for example) Immigration status Education disparities Access to transportation By eliminating barriers faced by underserved communities, we are able to provide intentional access to healthcare to anyone no matter where they are. By improving health outcomes, we will reduce ethnic disparities in healthcare, combating a systemic problem in a way that will improve the healthcare system and the overall health of society. We believe in healthcare for everyone, everywhere – through telemedicine, coaching, and empowering patients to manage their conditions. We do that by meeting patients where they are.
