HNL’s technology brings the Internet into the physical world around us. The PixieEngine platform meets many of today’s needs in the commercial, consumer, and military marketplaces including asset tracking, way finding, virtual fencing, object hyperlinking, advertising, and social networking. Human Network Labs (HNL) has developed three key components in providing a complete solution for indoor and outdoor localization. At the core of these components is a hardware-based wireless technology platform, PixieEngineTM, which accurately localizes people or objects, either moving or stationary. To accompany this, HNL has also developed a software -based WiFi location engine that can provide mobile phone users with their location using existing WiFi access points within their area. Finally, HNL has developed an integrated server-based solution which seamlessly integrates with Google maps and enables users to zoom in from the regular map view to a detailed indoor floor plan view showing exact locations of people, objects, and information (in the form of hyperlinks) with meter-level accuracy.
