Humboldt General Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) serving rural north-central Nevada. Our facilities include a five-star long-term skilled nursing and memory care unit, Harmony Manor, with 34 beds, and Quail Corner, offering an additional 8 beds. HGH’s team of skilled physicians, experienced nurses, and health professionals collaborate to provide comprehensive care, including a newly designated Rural Health Clinic, advanced surgical procedures, a full-service laboratory, cutting-edge radiology services, 24-hour emergency care, an exceptional obstetrics department, and an extensive range of outpatient and diagnostic services, including telemedicine and access to more than 80 specialty physicians. HGH is proud to offer a nationally recognized hospital-owned EMS service and has twice been named one of the top 10 innovators in EMS in the United States (2011 and 2013). Beginning in 2015, HGH became the site of Nevada’s first rural residency program through a partnership with the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Medicine. Humboldt General Hospital also hosts various community events and programs, such as the annual Community Health Fair, fundraisers, classes, courses, support groups, and more, emphasizing its dedication to improving the well-being of the region it serves.
