Our president, Dany Lessard, is a mechanical engineer registered in the province of Quebec (Canada) and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Vibration and Accoustics. Dany Lessard’s major expertise is in hydrogenerator assembly, alignment, balancing, commissioning and trouble-shooting.He has more than 20 years experience directing jobs, or supporting field technical directors and field engineers. UNIT ALIGNMENT We can help with alignment no matter where you are located. We use many different techniques and can either supervise your alignment or give you technical support as needed.We can prepare a procedure well suited for your project. The proper alignment of a unit is an expertise developed with time and experience. The principles of the alignment are fairly simple, but in practice, extensive experience and the use of proper methods are a big advantages for the client, since they can eliminate unnecessary steps and put emphasis on critical items. FIELD TECHNICAL SUPPORT We offer field technical support and can continue to do so even after we have left site. Our experience, both in the field and in supporting field personnel from off-site, is one of our strengths. We work outside of regular hours and remain reachable at all times so that the field personnel are always well supported. We have a lot of experience performing rotor heat shrinks, while rounding and centering the rotor at the same time. BALANCING & DIAGNOSTIC TESTS We perform diagnostic tests, such as vibration analysis, rotor rim displacement verification and air gap measurements and analysis. We can also verify the unit alignment, perform balancing and measure rotor and stator air gap sweeps to acquire a complete status of the unit.
