The Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) is a public, government company,  99.85% of its shares are government-owned and traded on the Tel-Aviv and Singapore stock exchange. Company activities include: generation,  transmission,   transformation, distribution, supply and sale of electricity. 

IEC owns and operates 15 power stations with 50 generating units: 16 steam-driven, 25 gas turbines and 9 combined-cycle units. IEC’s installed capacity stood at 10,955 MW.

IEC supplies reliable and high-quality electricity, complies with leading service standards, maintaining economic, commercial and environmental principles. IEC employs 10,716 workers and provides service to 3 million customers (update as of December 31, 2022).
