Established in 1916, International Services Center is a non-profit, non-sectarian social service agency dedicated to helping immigrants and refugees achieve self-sufficiency in the United States. To achieve this goal we offer a comprehensive refugee resettlement program, compassionate and affordable immigration legal assistance, interpretation and translation services, and fingerprinting for FBI and BCI background checks. We strive to cover every aspect of the transition to American life through our diverse and comprehensive programming, which includes cultural orientation, English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) courses, housing and employment services, immigration representation, as well as personal case management. Our services are responsive to the changing needs of the populations we serve and we continue to implement innovative solutions to identified needs. ISC is a member of the United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), the nation's oldest and largest non-sectarian network of non-profit organizations serving immigrants, refugees, and other foreign-born people worldwide. We are also a United Way member agency.
