International Wine Center (IWC) is America’s 1st WSET Provider and New York City’s destination for wine, spirits, sake, and beer education for over 45 years. One of the world’s most established and respected wine schools, International Wine Center opened its doors in New York City in 1982. IWC was the first organization in the U.S. to offer the programs of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET®), the world’s leading drinks education organization, beginning in 1994. In 2003, IWC became the U.S. Headquarters of WSET. More than 280 individuals have achieved the WSET Diploma in Wines & Spirits through International Wine Center, the most of any WSET Approved Program Provider outside of London. IWC’s leadership consists of Mary Ewing-Mulligan MW, the first woman in the U.S. to become a Master of Wine, and Dave Rudman DipWSET, who previously served as Executive Director of WSET Americas and WSET Asia-Pacific for seven years.
